The short rules for using Inningz, written to be read.
01Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and the people who make Inningz (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Inningz app. By installing or using it you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Inningz with a parent or guardian’s permission.
02What Inningz does
Inningz lets you create teams and players, score matches ball by ball or as an innings total, view scorecards and share them, and score a match together with another phone. The app is free to use. We may add, change or remove features over time, including through over-the-air updates.
03Accounts and guest mode
You can use Inningz as a guest or sign in with Google. A guest’s data lives only on their phone and is lost if the app is removed or its storage is cleared. Signing in lets you back up and share. You are responsible for your Google account and for what happens under your Inningz account.
04Your content
Team names, players, notes, scores and anything else you enter stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the app for you and the people you share a match with.
When you share a match you choose who receives the join code. People who join can see that match and score the innings given to them. Only share a code with people you trust, and only enter names of people who are happy to be listed.
05Using the app fairly
Please do not:
break the law or enter content that is abusive, hateful or invades someone’s privacy;
try to access accounts or matches that are not yours, or guess join codes;
disrupt, overload or probe the service, or scrape it automatically;
copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
pretend to be another person or team.
06Scores and statistics
Inningz records what its users enter. Scores, rates and statistics are only as accurate as that input and the rules you choose for a match. The app is a scoring aid. It is not an official record of any league, board or tournament, and it must not be used for betting.
07Other services
Inningz relies on Google (sign-in), Supabase (database and hosting), Expo (updates) and Google Play (distribution). Their own terms apply to their services. If one of them is unavailable, parts of Inningz may be too.
08Ending your use
You can stop using Inningz at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings, Account, Delete Account) or by emailing us. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
09Ownership of the app
The Inningz app, name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own cricket scoring. This does not transfer any ownership to you.
10No warranty
Inningz is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it reliable but cannot promise it will always run without errors or interruptions, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own record of important matches.
11Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Inningz after a change means you accept it. This version is effective 26 October 2026.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Where the law of your country gives you consumer rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply.
